I hope you are staying cool with the temperatures and humidity soaring. We are down to the final planning on Superfest, hard to believe its just 2 weeks away crunch time !!!
JOTA21
I’ve scheduled a Zoom meeting with district and council leaders on Sept 7th @ 7pm to further plan operations at Ingersoll Scout Reservation. Anyone wanting to participate
in the meeting please email me k9cew@arrl.net for the zoom link.
Club Elections
The election of our Club Board of Directors is one of the most important activities of the club. It helps set our direction for future events and activities. The Bylaws direct the process:
Section 5. Method of Nomination and Election. a. A proposed slate of Directors will be presented to the Club members at the regular Club meeting in October. Nominations may also be made by any voting member at the October meeting. Any nominations from the membership or self-nominations must be made before the close of the business portion of the October monthly club meeting. Any nominations made after the business portion of the October monthly club meeting will not be accepted. The names of all nominees will also be printed in the Club newsletter prior to the regularly scheduled November Club meeting.
Please plan to participate in this important process. If you would like to be consider for one of the positions or would like to nominate someone else (with their permission) contact Justin Flick n9wx.ares@gmail.com or me k9cew@arrl.net
See you all at Superfest!
